I love books. I have always turned to them for answers to understand life and how to live. In university, I changed paths from pursuing a biology degree to pursuing an English Literature degree, as I'd become enamoured by literature's capacity to encompass all of life.
The works of the Brontes, Shakespeare, Hardy, Lawrence, and others were magical and mysterious. Bookstores and libraries were magnetic to me. As a student I would pull an orange-spined Penguin from a bookshelf, open it and smell its musty, pulpy pages, revel at the sentences crafted by some one, for a reader, for me.
My sense of wonder endures as does my desire to write and to explore the mysterious realm of our human existence myself.
If those reflections are of interest to you, I'd be pleased to share them.
You'll receive an email whenever I publish something new.
